With 15 passenger decks, the Emerald Princess reaches to a height of 195 feet, but only has a 26 foot draft. The ship is beautiful, with classic interior decor.
The Emerald Princess includes staterooms of all types, ranging from interior cabins to elegant suites. Almost 1,100 cabins are on the outside (about 800 with balconies) and 434 are inside.

THREE MAIN DINING ROOMS

The three main dining rooms--Botticelli, Da Vinci, and Michelangelo--all look very similar. Each is on one deck, with tables seating from 2 to 10 passengers each. The dinner menus are also the same, so the selection is more a matter of either a set time or a flexible time for dinner. Dinner includes appetizers, soups, salads, main course, and dessert. Popular favorites such as shrimp cocktail and grilled salmon or chicken are always available. Lotus Spa Cuisine items (lower fat/lower calorie) are clearly marked. When booking a cruise, passengers choose either "traditional" dining or "anytime" dining for dinner.

The Botticelli Dining Room offers traditional, two-seating dining at 6:15 pm (first seating) and 8:30 pm (second seating) each evening. Passengers who enjoy the classic cruise experience of assigned table mates and time each evening will dine in Botticelli's. On our cruise on the Emerald Princess, this dining room was very popular, demonstrating that many cruisers still enjoy traditional dining.

The Da Vinci Dining Room and the Michelangelo Dining Room are the two "anytime" dining restaurants, and serve dinner from 5:30 pm to 10 pm each evening. Passengers just show up whenever they wish and with whomever they wish to dine. If one of the restaurants is full, the passengers are given one of those square pagers used in many restaurants ashore. They can then go browse in the shops or enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail until their table is ready. It's very easy, and perfect for those who like flexibility in dining.

The Da Vinci Dining Room is also open for breakfast and lunch for those who prefer a more formal meal or don't like buffets.

Sabatini's

Sabatini's serves up an authentic Italian dining experience in a remarkable eight-course meal. The stellar menu features both local seafood specialties and other regional favorites.

MICHELANGELO'S DINING ROOM

Princess Cruises' Emerald Princess cruise ship features Princess' Personal Choice dining options, and Princess has also added new culinary choices and menu items on the Emerald Princess. At dinner, passengers can select one of two fixed times at Botticelli's Restaurant or dine anytime between 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm at Michelangelo's or Da Vinci's, the two open seating rooms.
The Emerald Princess' other dining options range from casual outdoor dining at the pool or buffet to specialty restaurants like Sabatini's and the Crown Grill to the ultimate balcony dining experience in their cabin. The epitome of dining on the Emerald Princess is the Chef's Table Dinner experience, which is a treat for anyone who enjoys a memorable meal.

VINES, WINES & SUSHI BAR

Located just off the atrium, Vines offers wine, sushi, and interesting small bites of food in a casual setting.

Movies Under The Stars

Princess Cruises introduced big screen movies by the pool, and they movie features continue to be a popular nighttime entertainment option.

LOTUS SPA & FITNESS CENTER

The Lotus Spa offers everything you need pamper yourself, from facials, scrubs and massages to body therapy and body wraps, including a full-service salon.

Zero Gravity Beds - Thermal Spa

Overlooking Atrium Court

YEP, this is where all the shops are located!! I spend a lot of time here.

Atrium

The Atrium on the Emerald Princess is a hubbub of activity, with street entertainers, casual cafes, and always something to watch. I like to bring my laptop or book here and sit and enjoy the ship, while Joel spends all his time in the casino.

PRINCESS THEATRE

Every cruise features lavish productions with some of the largest casts at sea, performing today's Broadway hits and long-running classics.

Aft Pools

Swim, sun and enjoy yourself in our many pools. Relax effortlessly underneath a retractable glass dome, on a terrace above the rolling wake, or work up a sweat and make some of your own waves in a swim-against-the-current pool.

EMPLOYEE'S POOLS

The staff and crew of the Emerald Princess have their own pool and sunbathing area on this deck at the front of the ship.

THE SANCTUARY - NO CHILDREN ALLOWED! YAY!!

Sanctuary guests lounge amidst lush greenery, with the presence of gentle breezes, ocean waves, and softly piped-in spa music combining to further insulate the area with relaxation sounds. Guests can relax on plush outdoor furniture including double loungers for couples, as well as deluxe chaise lounges and chairs. Passengers also enjoy the personal attention of Serenity Stewards in The Sanctuary, who are on hand to provide everything from a chilled face towel and Evian water atomizers, to a menu of healthy beverages and fare. Serenity Stewards also have personal MP3 players with noise canceling headphones available loaded with themed playlists focused on relaxation for those who want to escape with music.

In addition, The Sanctuary features two outdoor private cabanas where guests can also take advantage of the exclusive Lotus Spa Services at The Sanctuary, including sybaritic favorites such as a Deep Tissue Muscle Massage, a relaxing Swedish Massage or a Full Body Lotus Massage especially for couples.

Guests can also refresh with a variety of special drinks and snacks created exclusively for The Sanctuary. Each day Serenity Stewards will be on hand to offer guests an array of drinks and snacks. Signature Sanctuary beverages include healthy smoothies, energy drinks, iced flavored waters and freshly made lemonade. A menu featuring a selection of light bites such as refreshing fruit skewers, lettuce wrapped spring rolls, and spicy tuna pate with baked pita wedges will also be available through the Serenity Stewards.

Half-day passes for The Sanctuary are available for $10 per person, for 8 am to 12:30 pm or 1 pm to 5 pm. Passengers choosing to indulge with an outdoor massage may also enjoy an hour's use of The Sanctuary area after their treatment.

GATSBY'S CASINO

I DON'T SEE JOEL.....

Skywalkers Lounge

Evening cocktails in one of the ship's cozy lounges or swanky bars is a perfect place to meet up with shipboard friends and swap stories about the afternoon's adventures.

Skywalker's Lounge is located 15 decks above the water - Aft

CROONER'S LOUNGE

The Crooner's Lounge overlooks the Emerald Princess atrium and serves great martinis and other cocktails, many of which are named for famous "crooners".
